Employees of the Straseni Court were tested positive for Coronavirus

Seven employees of the Straseni Court were tested positive for Coronavirus. The information was presented to the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) by the interim president Anatol Pahopol, informs Radio Moldova.

The topic was included on the agenda for discussion. According to the SCM, the first case of illness was confirmed on May 30, and the affected people are in isolation at home.

Moreover, the court decided that it will examine only files related to arrests and will issue protection ordinances in the case of victims of domestic violence.

The SCM ordered that the activity of the court be managed by the president of the court.

On June 2, it was announced that two prosecutors from the General Prosecutor's Office tested positive for COVID-19. Their health condition is good, reads a statement of the institution.

Recently, the infection of six employees of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office was also announced. The institution operates in a special, remote regime.
