Romania: 1 815 persons infected with COVID - 19, 43 persons died
The head of the Emergency Department, Secretary of State Raed Arafat, said that the situation of illnesses and deaths recorded in Romania due to COVID 19 on Sunday evening, at 20:00, was a total of 1,815 cases, with 43 persons dead, reports Agerpres.
"At 20:00 there were confirmed 1,815 cases in all, 206 people were treated, 43 people died, 770 persons taken to hospitals and 52 persons- in intensive care units”, said Raed Arafat.
The number of cases confirmed positively with COVID-19 was 1,760, according to the Sunday report, at 13:00, transmitted by the Strategic Communication Group (GCS).
Also, Secretary of State Raed Arafat presented, in the press statement held Sunday evening at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, four orders regarding the admission of patients suspected of COVID 19, the delegation of the medical personnel, the subordination of the ambulance services to the inspectorates for emergencies and the setting up of a military hospital in Constanţa.
